Biography

M. Tayfur Aydın, a visionary film director and producer born in Bitlis, Turkey, founded MTA Film Yapım in 2013, based in Istanbul. Aydın began his directorial career with Being You, and among his other notable works are award-winning short films such as Tomb Inside Me, On the Threshold, Forbidden Apple (Sêva Qedexe), and Three Months Before I Was Born. He later directed impactful feature films like Trace (İz-Rêç) and Black Crow (Siyah Karga). A recipient of numerous awards and a jury member at various film festivals, Aydın's influence extends beyond filmmaking.
