Biography

Country artist, songwriter, actress and model, Kelsi Mayne is as natural of an entertainer as her luscious amber locks of hair. The Scottish, Irish, northern Italian heritage mix has gifted her with a unique look and the talent and grit to match. The former nationally ranked varsity sprint-hurdler also pursued an education (with honors) in Nursing before ultimately becoming one of the fastest rising independent artists in Canada.

Moving to Toronto to pursue a career in the arts post-graduation, Kelsi first landed roles on medical TV shows Saving Hope and Remedy as well as various commercials. But, with a billboard for country music festival "Boots and Hearts" outside her bedroom window, her passion for music only grew stronger. While remaining self-represented, to date, Kelsi has now played the festival a total of four times, along with some of Canada's most coveted platforms, from the nationally televised Canadian Sports Hall of Fame program to the Calgary Stampede and Blue Jays anthems. Even more impressive, Kelsi also self-produces, edits and designs her own costumes for her music videos, some of which have gone viral on TikTok, earning millions of views in 24 hrs.

During the pandemic, Kelsi put her nursing degree and film knowledge combination back to use, and became the Chief Medical Director at top health and safety company Pulsar UV Inc., servicing all healthcare needs for the film and television industry in Toronto, catching the attention of the Toronto Star and CBC's "The National".

As her self-named fans call themselves the #MayneTrain, Kelsi's proven to be an unstoppable force, where success seems to follow her every move. With new projects being shared everyday on her social media, Soundcheck Entertainment's Hendrik Pape predicted, "it won't be long until Kelsi Mayne becomes a household name across Canada."
