Biography

Dana Covarrubias is a Costume Designer for film and television based in New York City. She has designed costumes for multiple ground breaking productions including Only Murders In the Building (Hulu/Disney) starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez, Life and Beth (Hulu) starting Amy Schumer, Ramy (A24/Hulu) starring Ramy Youseff and Mahershala Ali, Master of None (Netflix) starring Aziz Ansari and Lena Waithe, Mrs. Fletcher (HBO) starring Kathryn Hahn, Claws (TNT) starring Niecy Nash, Quantico (ABC) starring Prianka Chopra, Louie (FX) starring Louis CK, and They Came Together (Lionsgate) starring Amy Poehler and Paul Rudd. Dana has worked on location all over the United States as well as in Italy, Ireland, and Canada. In 2018 she was recognized for excellence in Costume Design by New York Women In Film and Television. In 2022 Dana was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award in the Contemporary Costume Design category.
