Biography

Born in Aurora, Illinois, Mikki got her first taste of acting in kindergarten when she played Rapunzel in the school play. Although she was painfully shy, she loved the stage.

Through her tumultuous teen years through her mid-twenties, Mikki never lost her love of acting and acted any time she could. She moved around a lot during these years so was unable to join any acting troupes. She settled in Florida, where she began acting for her church.

After divorcing, she took her kids and moved to Southern California.

Her first role in front of the camera was for a short film she produced herself in which she starred. After that first exposure to the camera, she knew she'd found where she wanted to be: in front of the camera.

Instead of taking roles that she 'looked' the part for, she took roles that challenged her and stretched her as an actress, not caring that she didn't look 'pretty' in them. She still seeks those roles that will take her where she hasn't gone before.
