Biography

Michael J. Wickham is a writer, director, and producer, whose passion for storytelling began with an Emmy Award-winning career in journalism. Born and raised in New Jersey, Michael attended college in Upstate New York, where he worked as a news videographer and editor for eight years before moving to Los Angeles in 2012. There, he has produced films, shorts, web series, and commercial videos for a multitude of clients including BuzzFeed, MotorTrend, and MarVista Entertainment. He specializes in producing independent films on the road, working in New York, Ohio, Kentucky, Georgia, and Arizona. Additionally, he has directed more than a dozen short films and written a number of feature screenplays.

For one summer, Michael was the back-up mascot for the New Jersey Cardinals, a now-defunct minor league baseball team in Sussex County, NJ.

Was a professional clown for most of his childhood. His father began taking him out to children's birthday parties, company picnics, and parades, performing comedy magic shows as Albert and Kiddo. Michael played Kiddo the Clown until he graduated from high school.

Has a degree in Physics from Siena College.
