- Ismail Kemal Ciftcioglu was born on September 11, 1986 in Mersin, Turkey. He is a director and writer, known for The Cycle (2021), Voidrunner (2017) and Eski Dunyanin Ordulari (Armies of the Old World) (2011).

- His love of science fiction & fantasy, comes from his family. Both his father and mother loves science fiction. They used to had him read Doctor Who stories and Isaac Asimov books when he was a little child.
