Carshénah Jefferson hails from Jacksonville, Florida bringing her southern roots to cultivate her talents to include dance, linguistics and computers.
Graduating college in just three years, she used her last undergrad year to study abroad in Florence, Italy which changed her life. Continuing with an MFA degree in Acting from the University of Florida, her thesis was a principle role in a new play "Lavender Lizards and Lilac Landmines: Layla's Dream," written and directed at the University by Ntozake Shange.
After graduation that morning, she flew to New York landing her first professional acting and contract modeling job for Mattel, Inc. as their official Barbie Doll named Simone during their One Modern Circle campaign. Broadway was next with the New York touring company TheatreWorks USA for a dual role in, "The Color of Justice." as her first major theatre audition.
Finishing her tour, Carshenah moved to Los Angeles adding a string of TV, film and commercials under her belt.
