- Jekiél Garvey is a versatile actor and multi-instrumentalist known for his compelling performances across film, television, and theater. A trained musician from a young age, Jekiél began playing the piano at the age of five, developing a deep, lifelong connection to music that later led him to study Electro-Acoustic Composition at San Diego State University. His sound design and musical background continue to inform his dynamic approach to physical storytelling and character work. On screen, Jekiél has brought depth to a wide range of principal roles, appearing in feature and short film projects such as 16-Love, Strings 4 Your Love, and Not The Destination, as well as television productions including Pulling Strings. His versatility extends to major commercial and digital campaigns, including promotional work for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. A SAG-AFTRA Eligible performer, Jekiél trained in Method Acting under Carey Scott at The Rehearsal Room and honed his audition technique with casting director Jason Woods. In addition to his acting career, he is an accomplished vocalist (tenor) with experience in the SDSU Aztec Choir, as well as a skilled percussionist and acoustic/bass guitarist.
