Taro Suruga is a Japanese actor known for his grounded and emotionally layered performances across film, television, and stage. Based in Tokyo, he has built a strong reputation through major streaming productions and theatrical work, portraying complex characters ranging from corporate professionals to organized crime figures.

Suruga began his acting career in the late 2000s and gained national recognition in 2011 with his performance in the NHK television drama Carnation, where he portrayed the husband of the series’ heroine.
