Kim Sae-Ron was a popular South Korean actress who first debuted at the age of 9. She is best known for her roles in Korea and the films, "A Brand New Life" and "The Man From Nowhere". She won the Best New Actress award at the 8th Korean Film Awards for her role in the film, "The Man From Nowhere". She attended the Cannes Film Festival when the film, "A Brand New Life", was shown there as a special screening, becoming the youngest actress to be invited to the festival.

Kim's first acting role was in the 2009 film A Brand New Life, directed by the French-Korean filmmaker Ounie Lecomte and loosely based on her life. Kim played the main character, a nine-year-old girl named Jin-hee, who is abandoned by her father at an orphanage after he remarries, and is later adopted by a French couple. Kim attended the Cannes Film Festival when the film was shown there in a special screening, becoming the youngest actress to be invited to the festival.

She effectively halted her acting career after a drunk driving incident in May 2022. A court fined her 20 million won ($13,850) in April 2023.

Kim Sae-ron was a South Korean actress. She started her career in 2001, debuting as a child model.

At the age of nine, she transitioned into acting and became popular through the films A Brand New Life (2009) and The Man From Nowhere (2010).

She attended Miyang Elementary School in Seoul, and graduated from Yang-il Middle School in Ilsan in February 2016.
