Carter William Frost was born and raise in Texas to a tenured Professor on English and a Marine Corps, Vietnam veteran. He moved to Fort Worth at the age of 20 to study stage acting eventually starring in such stage productions as "Our Country's Good" in which he portrayed the pivotal role of Harry Brewer, "Steven Dietz's Dracula" in which he played the title character, William Shakespeare's "Love's Labours Lost" as Berowne, Nicanor the Spy in "Coriolanus" and, under the superb direction of Adam Adolfo, appeared in Shakespeare's "Henry V" as the young king - a performance for which he garnered some praise.

The genius of all great actors is to make the word feels like a real thought. Every work that comes out should be on the moment. It's not just about memorizing the lines. You have to internalize them.
It's almost incompatible to be an actor and a director. Because the director must struggle with the actor and the actor must struggle with the director. And if there is no seeing eye-to-eye in that struggle, then the art is ruined. That's why I choose to be an director first, an actor second, and a writer third, because that's my priority as an actor/director.
I've been praised for my Shakespearean performances, but I got to tell you, I don't understand a single thing I'm saying.
