Salamina Mosese

Salamina Mosese has over 24 years of experience in Media and Entertainment as an Actress, MC, TV Host and Film Producer. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications from the University of Johannesburg and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Regenesys Business School. Salamina also presented on Top Billing. Following this, her other television jobs include Soul Buddyz, Justice for All, Erfsondes on SABC 2 and even the BBC Drama series Wild at Heart. Salamina also presented a Gospel star search competition; I Want to Sing Gospel, on SABC2. In 2013 Salamina won a South African Film and Television Award (Golden Horn) for Best Actress in Comedy for her role as Ella Kekana on the sitcom, Abomzala on SABC1. Salamina was part of the cast of the well-known daily soap opera Sewende Laan on SABC 2 as journalist Nthabiseng Masilo for 4 years.

Business interests: Sorele Media- Salamina is a Producer and Managing Director at Sorele Media, a production company she co-owns with Stephina Zwane. As a film Producer, she has produced 4 feature films through her company, namely; Love & Kwaito (Mzansi Magic- 2016), Baby Mamas (Netflix, 2018; 2023), Home Wrecker (July 2023, Netflix) and Love, Sex & 30 Candles (Branded Title; Netflix, Aug 2023).
