Started shaving at age 12.

People told Jared all throughout his high school years that he should be a comedian, but he never took it seriously. Then, at the age of 24, he finally decided to give stand-up a try.

Once when Jared was 22, a girl that he worked with offered to pay him to do a comedy show in her living room for her and her family. Jared declined thinking it would just be weird. Two years later, he began doing stand up comedy at churches and comedy clubs.

Has lived in the Dallas, TX area since 2004.

After hearing Jared speak at his grandmother's funeral in October 2000, the Pastor of the church, who had known Jared for over ten years, pulled Jared aside and told him that he felt that Jared should seriously consider entering the Ministry. Although Jared had not considered it before, he diligently prayed about it for months, but never felt God calling him to pursue it.

Taught Sunday School for the high school class for four years at Lewisport Baptist Church in his hometown of Lewisport, KY.

Jared's all time favorite actors include Ed Harris, Robin Williams, Daniel Day-Lewis, Robert DeNiro, and Jack Nicholson.

Once at age 14, Jared dunked a basketball on a nine foot goal.

Loves physical comedy. Jared has given himself floor burns, scrapes, and bruises many times by intentionally tripping and falling while walking through public places.

Some of Jared's favorite t.v. shows include 24, Breaking Bad, Dexter, Criminal Minds, Seinfeld, Parenthood, Friday Night Lights, and This is Us.
