- Acting is simple. Complex. And mesmerizing. All at the same time.
- Acting is a great way to discover sides of yourself that you didn't even know existed.
- (On having a dark side and playing violent, psychotic characters) The trick is to know how to control it, and when to unleash it.
- Once I had a taste (of acting and filmmaking) I knew that I could never be completely fulfilled doing any other career.
- I am an actor. That is who I was created to be. God could've created me to be whoever He wanted me to be. He could have made me tall, athletic, good looking. But He didn't make me any of those things. He made me who I am, because that's who I am intended to be. I am an actor. That is who I will be.

And that bothers me, because I know that we were created with the capacity to love and love deeply. I think too many people get married because they just think it's the next step in the relationship. I want people when they see this film and look at Dale and Stephanie together to think,'Wow! Is that what it's really like? Is that what I've been missing? Oh man, that's what I need. How do I get that?' And I want people who already have that love in their lives to simply look at the love of their life, and smile, knowing that they have the love they are seeing portrayed on screen.
