- Louis Colaianni is a voice, speech, text, dialect and acting coach in film, television and theatre. He was dialect coach to Craig Roberts (2015-2017) for three seasons on the Amazon Prime series Red Oaks. He was dialect coach to Maisie Williams for Apple TV's The New Look (2024). Colaianni also served as dialect coach to Hamish Linklater, as Abraham Lincoln for the Apple TV mini series Manhunt (2024), and as dialogue coach to Haley Bennett in the Apple series The Last Frontier (2024). He has coached Bill Murray in five films, including French Dispatch (2021) and Hyde Park on Hudson (2012). Louis was Don Cheadle's coach for the voice of Miles Davis in the film Miles Ahead, Will Ferrell's coach for the HBO and Broadway productions of You're Welcome America, and Anna Gunn's dialect coach as Laurie Bonner in the little known film Little Red Wagon. He served as Common's voice coach in his Broadway debut, Between Riverside and Crazy. Other stage credits include dialect coach for Ron Cephus Jones in The Overwhelming, voice coach for Madeleine Martin in the Broadway production of August Osage County. Louis Colaianni was visiting associate professor at the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, and is professor at University of Southern California School of Dramatic Arts MFA acting program. He lives in Los Angeles.
