- Inspired by the captivating impact of storytelling through film and television during her teenage years while living in her home country - St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Indira Layne is now a Toronto-based Actor. Having trained under the tutelage of some of Toronto's finest acting schools with professionals at ENV Studios Toronto, Armstrong Acting Studio and LB Acting Studio, Layne has a few commercials, Television series and short films under her belt. She most recently appeared in the 2021 short film "In Other News" directed by Ivan D. Ossa. Layne is a firm believer in continuous training; constantly seeks out new opportunities to hone her craft. Having begun her foray into writing, her first short "1000 pieces" premiered at the Hairouna Film Festival in 2021.
In 2022, Layne launched Look At Us Productions with writing partner Fallon Bowman. Layne is looking forward to continued growth in the film industry and spearheading new projects in the upcoming year.
