Alberto Rodríguez is a director with over 25 years of experience in animated international feature films and series. Trained at the UK’s NFTS and Oscar-nominated (Student Academy Awards), he directed Ozzy, overseeing the full production across teams in Spain and Canada; winning the Gaudí Award, the CEC Medal, and receiving a Goya nomination.
He co-directed episodes of POCOYO and later worked in Canada as an episode director for multiple Disney IPs.
As Animation Director, he led teams of up to 35 animators on the features Inspector Sun and Ooops! 2, ensuring acting consistency, staging, and animation quality across international studios. He also develops personal projects, co-created NUT BIRDS, teaches regularly, and authored the book Proyectos de Animación 3D.
