DJ Zelen Jr. is an intrepid entrepreneur. He engaged in the toughest
challenge, that of leading a vertically integrated company which both
manufactured and designed fiber optic lighting special effects in a
highly competitive industry. Mr. Zelen is a visionary, knowing where
the lighting industry was going to plastic and glass optical fiber and
leading the industry in that direction. Working with the likes of The
Walt Disney Co. Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Industrial Light and
Magic to name a few. He brought his company through the stages most
would be entrepreneurs dream of: founding it, leading an ongoing
profitable company, and selling it for a handsome sum.
DJ then re-invented himself, first as a musician pursuing a professional career drumming, recording and touring in national bands. Then Mr. Zelen added film producer and writer to his arsenal. This renaissance man has over 26 years of entertainment experience fueling his latest projects Zeleznik Films LLC and Ground Control Studios LLC., both companies geared towards the magic of making movies.
