Marcus Rivera is an award-winning Filipino-Australian actor with over 20 years of experience in Australian film, television, and theatre. Born in Manila and raised in Sydney, Marcus brings an authentic multicultural perspective and exceptional range to every role. Recent Work: Marcus made his Queensland Theatre Company debut in October 2025, playing Ernie in "Malacanang Made Us" by Jordan Shae (dir. Kenneth Moraleda). Screen credits include "Hidden Thorns" (2024), "The Wild Orchards" (2024), "Tomgirl" (2018), and "Well Done" (2011). Awards: Sydney Theatre Award Nominee (2022) for "Ate Lovia"; Best Actor, Made in the West Film Festival (2019); City of Sydney Counter Tenor Award (2012); IBLA Grand Prize recipient. Theatre: Notable stage credits include Miss Saigon (The Engineer), City of Angels, Carole King Musical, and the critically acclaimed "Ate Lovia."
