Streaming Stars, Then and Now

Steven Krueger grew up in Sarasota, FL where he had his first exposure to the performing arts when his mother insisted he try acting class during his freshman year of high school. Though he fell in love with almost immediately, he always only considered acting a hobby. It wasn't until he found himself in Los Angeles for a post-college internship that he realized he truly wanted to pursue a career in the arts.

Steven spent time training with a number of renowned teachers in both LA and New York and it wasn't long before he started landing guest appearances on hit shows like Pretty Little Liars, Parenthood and Workaholics. He caught his first big break in 2013 with the role of Josh Rosza on CW's hit spin-off series "The Originals". While only slated for a small recurring arc, Steven quickly became a fan favorite and by the end of the first season he had earned a spot on E! Entertainment's list of "Top Ten Scene Stealers on TV". From there Steven became a staple on the show for its entire five season run.

In addition to his on-camera work, Steven hopes to branch out into directing and producing as well. Outside of the industry, Steven was a competitive tennis player for 15 years and spends a lot of time traveling both around the US and abroad in search of outdoor adventures including mountain climbing and long-trek backpacking.

Landed first break with a recurring role on &quot;Pretty Little Liars&quot;.

In high school, joined the speech and debate team where he competed in Duo Interpretation, a form of competitive acting.

On May 14, 2025. Krueger announced his engagement to actress <a class="ipc-md-link ipc-md-link--entity" href="/name/nm2127038/?ref_=nmtrv_trv">Candice King</a>. After nearly two years of dating.

He is of German, English, Hungarian, and, from his maternal grandmother, Ashkenazi Jewish, descent.
