- Willem Bosch was born in the Netherlands, he studied at the Film Academy in Amsterdam and has recently become the most prolific and requested Showrunner and EP in the Netherlands.
Willem is a Showrunner on the Disney+ Original TV series Nemesis and also an Executive Producer and Creator / Sole Writer of the series One of Us, a true crime TV series for Canal+. Willem also writes on various Dutch-language productions for the Dutch Public Broadcaster and Netflix.
His dark comedies: Boy Meets Gun, Zina and Feuten have had great success in Europe.
In 2022, Willem's script development company was acquired by the French Newen Studios. His earlier work counts dozens of series and films and he has written both, in teams and on his own. Willem won awards at the Austin Film Festival, the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Seattle Film Festival.
Willem's upcoming work is bringing him to the United States where he is working on a new dark, thriller feature film called The Binding, a murder mystery set in the world of his Catholic childhood. He has written in English and Dutch.
