Biography

Atlanta Rhythm Section is known for 21 Jump Street (2012), The Fighter (2010) and Without Remorse (2021).

Members have included Ronnie Hammond, Dean Daughtry, Paul Goddard, Rodney Justo, Steve Stone, David Anderson, Jim Keeling, Barry Bailey, J.R. Cobb, Robert Nix, Justin Senker, Roy Yeager, R.J. Vealey, Andy Anderson, Sean Burke, Shaun Williamson, Danny Biget, J.E. Garnett, Keith Hamrick, Tommy Stribling, Alan Accardi.

Member Ronnie Hammond died of heart failure on March 14, 2011, at age 60. R.J. Vealey died on November 13, 1999, of a heart attack at age 37. Robert Nix died on May 20, 2012, at age 67 from complications following surgery. Barry Bailey died in his sleep on March 13, 2022, after a long battle against multiple sclerosis.
