Biography

Born in 1982 in Prague. After high school graduation he decided to develop his passion for film and photography and entered Independent Film School in Pisek where he learned the technical basics needed. Upon graduation he gains experience as an AC and camera operator on lots of film and television projects. This work ignited even more interest in cinematography so he decided to educate further at Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU). He passed his bachelors degree and is studying M.A. program in cinematography.

Member of the Association of Czech Cinematographers since 2010.

Speaks fluently Czech, English, moderately French and is keen student of Japanese.
