Biography

Damien Swaby is a filmmaker, producer, and podcast host known for his work exploring storytelling, filmmaking craft, and the creative voices behind film and television. He is the creator and host of the Filmmaking Conversations podcast, an interview series that brings together directors, editors, cinematographers, producers, actors, and entertainment professionals to discuss the art and business of filmmaking.

Swaby's podcast has featured a wide range of notable industry guests, including Academy Award and Emmy Award-winning professionals. Among them are Donald Sylvester, Academy Award winner for Best Sound for Ford v Ferrari; acclaimed film editor Eddie Hamilton, known for his work on Top Gun: Maverick, the Mission: Impossible franchise, and Quantum of Solace; and cinematographer Roberto Schaefer, whose credits include Quantum of Solace.
