Biography

Born in Merced California, Damian Fulton (sometimes listed as Damian X Fulton) comes from an entertainment family. His aunt, Joan Shawlee, had a 40-year career in Hollywood, appearing in films with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Frank Sinatra. His daughter Grace Caroline Currey can be seen in Shazam I and II, Fall, and Annabelle Creation. Damian directed her in the film "Painted Horses".

Fulton's most recent film "Socked in for Christmas", a romantic comedy starring Joey Lawrence, is in a completely different direction than his previous action/drama genres.

Fulton cut his teeth directing shooting content for Pepsi, Chevron, Jaguar, Carl's Jr., Dollywood, and Mattel. His ad experience earned him a position with Marvel Productions as VP/Creative Development. While there, he created children's animation programming for television and shorts for theatrical release.

In 2020, he and his team won a Cannes Lion for Elton John's 360 VR film, "Farewell Yellow Brick Road". Damian has created experiential content for Disney, Universal Studio Parks, Dodge, and Honda, and collaborated with Lucasfilm on the Nissan Rogue launch.
