Tara Erica Moore is of East Indian and English descent. Born in South Africa and raised bouncing between South Africa and Connecticut, her work is shaped by her bi-racial, global identity. She is trained in Shakespeare, Meisner and improv. Her directorial debut, "Legacy: Apartheid's Shadow", was on the 2025 Oscars® long-list for Best Feature Documentary. She directed, wrote, edited, and produced the film. She holds a BA in Psychology from Wesleyan University, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson.
