Evan Allen-Gessesse

Evan Allen-Gessesse is a director, actor, producer, writer, and television host. In 2016 he won a EMMY Award for his documentary, Standing on Common Ground: 10 years later, a look back at the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans. He hosted the nationally syndicated PBS show, Local USA on World Channel. As an actor, Allen-Gessesse has appeared on such shows as Rosewood, Chance, I Am the Night, and 9-1-1. For 5 seasons he played the role of Renny on John Singleton's Snowfall, and can currently be seen on HBOMax's EMMY Award winning show, The Pitt, playing the role of Nurse Dave Miller.
