Christopher Rush Harrington: Co-Founder of Zone9 Films Outpost Media, Inc. and Sugar Pictures LLC, is all an Actor/Director/Writer/Producer for film and media. Chris was raised in the Midwest, left home at 16 years old to play Soccer in Europe. Chris first fell in love with acting in San Francisco after being injured in a Soccer match, he was offered a role in the play "You Can't Take It With You". His very next audition in 1991, he was offered the lead and went on to be nominated for an Irene Ryan Acting Award for his portrayal of Tajomaru in the play "Rashamon".

In 1992, Chris was hired to run CHIAT/DAY advertising's Audio Visual Department as their global AV Director where he cut their new business reels and story boards for several years. In 1994, he wrote, produced and starred in his first film, "Bullhead". The Movie "Bullhead" premiered at Raleigh Studios, was accepted to the IFFM and was distributed by Landmark Theatres. In 1995 he was recruited by a producer at TBWA Chiat/Day Advertising to do some scratch voice over work and soon was retained by Special Artists Agency. Chris ended up making a living doing voiceover work for many years and was the voice of several national campaigns with Sony, Fox, Nissan to name a few.

Soon after he fell in love with is lifetime partner, Christina Laughlin, a talented actress and writer in her own right. Chris and Christina partnered with her father and legendary independent filmmaker, Tom Laughlin and his production company Billy Jack Enterprises and produced and edited the Indian gaming documentary entitled, "End Game". In the process Tom Laughlin convinced and offered to bankroll Chris in becoming a trained Editor. This experience inspired and changed Chris's entire perspective in the story telling process. Soon after he landed a five-picture deal with then WIREBREAK Ent. and went on to creatively produce and co-edit the online mini series hit, "The Best Man?" which was nominated for best Screenplay in the 2000 Pixie Awards.. "The Best Man?" went on to be distributed by Total Movie DVD.

Chris, in his pursuit to learn every aspect of the filmmaking process was eventually hired to help build out the Business Development department for Company 3, a premiere DI/COLOR post house in Hollywood. Years later he was snatched up by Tunnel Post as a Lead Producer to help post produce an HBO series and DI produce 3 feature films.

Christopher was quickly lured back into the editorial side and was hired as an additional editor in 2012 on a filmmaker friend's feature film Documentary. In May of that same year he decided to do what he had always dreamed of doing which was to create a film production company with its own file based post facility to support its slate of pictures both creatively and financially. He partnered with a successful Canadian Writer/Producer/Director and one of most sought after comedic commercial Directors in the industry to create this international Feature Film Post House and Feature Film Production Company, OUTPOST MEDIA, INC. (OutPost). OutPost lensed and posted seven motion pictures within a 3 year period. All of them received global distribution.

In 2016 Christopher teamed up with his long time friend and past collaborator and Director, Jijo Reed and a visionary feature film Editor, Paul Buhl, to create SUGAR PICTURES. In 2017 and 2018 SUGAR PICTURES has gone on to produce and co-produce 4 feature films, 2 of which have received theatrical distribution. Today, Christopher is developing several IPs and is contracted to Direct his first feature film in 2019. He resides in Malibu, California with his wife and 2 children.
