Biography

Joanne Harris is a Local 399 Key Assistant Location Manager, and a member of the Location Managers Guild International.

She majored in Communications and Journalism, working for national and global corporations before entering the world of film and television.

She booked her first film acting role in 2006, and studied at several acting studios. She studied screenwriting at the Act One screenwriting program in Los Angeles, feature film production at UCLA and at the Burt Reynolds Institute of Film and Television.

Her first documentary short film in Germany in 2010, "A Mass of Wine," sold in four continents.

Joanne was hired to scribe the feature, "Unintended," an action / thriller, in 2019.

She has written award-winning scripts for video production, and has produced, directed, post supervised and scripted numerous corporate videos and commercials.

She speaks English, German and some Spanish.
