Biography

Michael Harding was born in 1953 in County Cavan, Ireland. He is an actor and writer, known for The Poorhouse Revisited (2011), Southwest Donegal (2020) and Black Ice (2013). He has been married to Cathy Carman since 1993. They have two children.

He is an active writer of novels and poetry. He is a regular columnist with The Irish Times. He was Writer in Association with The Abbey Theatre in 1993 and was Writer in Residence at Trinity College Dublin, in 1999.
