Biography

Aaron Gilmartin is a composer, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist, plays oud, bass, ukulele and is a teacher of music. Since moving to LA in 2013 he has scored films and episodic TV. Aaron has worked with Hollywood composer Chris Young as engineer and assistant. Aaron tours as a singer songwriter and donates his performances at hospice and hospital care facilities. He started the organization #MusicianVolunteerArmy connecting with artists to perform in health care facilities. He has played with Jacob Valenzuela (Iron and Wine and Calexico), Chris Letcher (Hugh Masekela) and Adam Levy (Norah Jones, Tracey Chapman, Amos Lee), Aaron appears on film scores, and composes for film. His flamenco and bossa nova videos are studied around the world.
