Biography

Raised in Morristown, NJ by parents Philip and Linda Galati, he has a brother Anthony and a sister, Jessica.

Coming to the film and television industry in his early 30's, P. J. spent the beginning part of his career as a professional trouble shooter for electrical mechanical systems. This training helped prepare him for working on film sets as a director, understanding how to make quick decisions when problems arise, and to make sure the production continues to move forward. P. J. has been writing for over 25 years and it was his first feature length script 'My Soul to Keep' which prompted a full move into the film industry. He graduated from the New York Film Academy directing program in 2008.

Most of his day to day work comes in the form of film and video editing, where his technical skills and troubleshooting mindset fit together in unison to create well balanced and artistic stories for various clients that find their way to him.

While only known to a select few for it, P. J.'s work as a script doctor and script editor has also been helpful to several indie filmmakers working in the New York City metro area.

P. J. has nearly 50 different feature length Science Fiction concepts in various stages of development from simple outline to completed script. As is the goal of every Writer/Director, he want's to tell as many of these stories as he can.
