Biography

Dan Hardy is known for Pistols and Predictions (2012), UFC on Fox (2011) and Where Are They Now? (2016). He is married to Lacey Ann Hardy.

He picked up martial arts at the age of 5. Besides MMA and Tae Kwon Do, he originally trained in Judo, Karate, Jujutsu and Wushu. He even trained with Shaolin monks, before transitioning to boxing and Muay Thai. Later, he gave up his degree in art and design in his final year at Nottingham Trent University to pursue MMA full-time.

Hardy is a fan of punk, metal and hardcore music.

English former mixed martial artist who fought in the welterweight division. He holds a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. During his professional MMA career, since 2004, Hardy fought in various promotions, such as Cage Force and Cage Warriors, before signing with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2008. He is now an analyst and color commentator for the UFC.

Was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome in 2013.
