Biography

Dre Michael Chaney is a passionate dramatic/comedic performer, an explosive talent proficient in several combat styles - Jeet Kune Do, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai, to name a few.

A member of the prestigious New Actors Workshop, established by directors, Mike Nichols, George Morrison and Paul Sills; he was chosen, by legendary Dir., George Morrison, as a member of the studio's Professional Actors Scene Study class. The affect of Mr. Morrison's teachings are evident in Dre's work.

A 2003 graduate of Duality Playhouse, West, he also studied acting at the renowned William Esper Studio, NYC and movement with Dir., Lloyd Williamson at The Actors Movement Studio, NYC.

With an advanced yoga practice and commitment to physical fitness, he is always finding ways to incorporate this into his work. Further, he's an amazing voice over talent, with various customized characters ready to lend themselves to the animation market.
