Phyllis Thinkii was born in Kenya, East Africa.
After doing very well in high school, Phyllis' parents gave her the option of two gifts: A two weeks paid beach vacation in the coast of Mombasa or a chance to study abroad. She chose the latter.
While studying computer Engineering in Washington DC, Phyllis watched an unhealthy amount of TV and classic films in the evenings to soothe her homesickness. That led her to the curiosity of how the words on movie screens came to be. After an encounter with an Opus Dei nun who recommended a writing program in Los Angeles, plus discovering LA never gets snow (as of 2020), Phyllis shipped her car to LA and never went back to DC.
Upon getting to Los Angeles, Phyllis worked at the Directors Guild of America, ABC/Disney studio, and Warner Bros studio.
Phyllis speaks 4 languages: English, German, Meru, and Swahili.
Phyllis is currently developing a few TV shows.
