Colin J. Pearce has worked on various features such as Performance Anxiety (2008), Stanley's Mouth (2015), Hand Grenade (2017), T Blockers (2023), Spithood (2024), Orange Boy (2025), Caliburn (2026), Shadows of Trust (2026) and Ballad of a Sundowner (2027).
Colin is a highly sought-after Sound Recordist and has won the hearts of many actors and crew in the Australian industry. On a shoot he is a team player and has a friendly disposition. He studied filmmaking while living in Brisbane, where he completed the Advanced Diploma of Screen at QPIX, and the QPIX course in Sound Design.
For several years Colin worked in the sound recording and filmmaking studios at Dale Street Studios. Since then, he has focused his filmmaking pursuits on the Production Sound Department, particularly performing roles as Head of Department, Sound Recordist, Boom Operator and ADR Recordist.
He is an Admin of the major "Adelaide Filmmakers" group on Facebook with 5,000 members.
