Moreover, his films represent 40% of the total international awards for Icelandic film & TV productions over the last decade and have been Iceland's submission for the International Feature Award at the Oscars in 2020, 2022, and 2024, with "Godland" shortlisted in 2024.
Throughout his career, Anton has meticulously cultivated a robust network of co-producers and collaborators across Europe. He is a member of the European Film Academy and an alumnus of programs such as EAVE (2014), EFP Producers on the Move (2017), EAVE+ (2019), and ACE 33 (2023). His contribution to the Icelandic film industry extends beyond his productions, encompassing board roles for various associations and festivals, as well as chairing SÍK - Association of Icelandic Film Producers and ÍKSA - the Icelandic Film and TV Academy.
