Ashera J. Powell

Ashera J. Powell, a Chicago native, is a musician, composer, music producer, and songwriter. She is a graduate of Howard University with a BA in Music Therapy from the School of Fine Arts now named the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts. She became a professional photographer in 2012 and started her own business Ashera J. Photography. In 2020, she started writing, producing and mixing an EP with a release in 2022. Her former project entitled Cinematic Paradice, a film music album, was released in 2019. Though her credits are in the area of music, Ashera J. is nonetheless ready to take on her dream of acting. She has been married to Stephen K.Powell for almost 22 years and they have 2 children.
