With the creative desire to direct films, Derrick wrote and directed
his first short film "Second Chances" in 2008. Since then Derrick has
ambitiously went on to produce/direct other short films with film
festival success, documentaries for local non-profit organizations
(Susan G. Komen & Paws in the City), commercial contests and music
videos for local Dallas musicians.
