Carrie Prejean
Caroline Michelle Prejean was born in San Diego, California. Her mother is an Italian American and her father is of French descent. She was raised in an evangelical Christian household, and then studied in an evangelical private school located in El Cajon, California. After modeling for various brands, Carrie competed in the Miss California USA 2008 beauty pageant and was the first runner-up. She won the following year the Miss California USA 2009 title. She also competed at the Miss USA 2009 pageant in Las Vegas, Nevada and was the first runner-up. Her answer to the final question during the pageant caused a lot of controversy.
