- Began martial arts fight choreography in 1985 (age 10) for public demonstrations. Assisted his Sensei by teaching newer students at 11.
- Started playing violin at age 8. Picked up guitar at age 13, drums at 17. Learning to play bagpipes (as of Nov. 2008).
