- Ingo Hillenbrand was born on August 13, 1984 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany. He is a director and writer, known for Die Legende von Derdriu und Noisi (2009), Die Felsen: Land (2010) and Knautschzone (2009).
- After he first saw Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) in 1990 with just 6 years he knew that he wants to make movies by himself.
- After his German Abitur he went to Constance, a city nearby the Lake Constance in the very south of Germany and started a vocational training as an audio-visual media designer which he graduated successfully in 2009.
- From 2009 till 2012 he was studying Film and German philology at the university in Mainz and graduated successfully in summer 2012.
- His first feature film that was released limited in theaters 2009 was Die Legende von Derdriu und Noisi (2009).
- He directed the music videos for the Felsen's "Land" (2010) and Blac Head Lions' "Me and Myself" (2012).
