Molly Durand(I)

Molly Durand is a classically trained singer and actor. Molly is also a songwriter who started off working with some of the greatest classical conductors of the 20th century: Sir Gorge Solti and Christoph Eschenbach, alongside the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and Chorus at Orchestra Hall and Medina Temple. Molly was lucky enough to work with renowned minimalist composer Phillip Glass on his American premiere of The Marriages Between Zones 3, 4 & 5. She has performed with LadySmith Black Mumbazzo choir and famed gospel composer and conductor Richard Smallwood. Molly read and sang the part of Anne Wilson of HEART in their musical review: Kick It Out, written by Nancy and Anne Wilson in front of HEART and showcased at Playtone Studios beside Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. Molly toured with Chicago's Second City as a company member performing sketch comedy and improv. Molly worked with Holland Taylor on her one woman show ANN. Molly also performed in Leslie Jordan's working musical in Los Angeles. Molly is a session and live performer in LA with original songs on film and TV and podcasts. She is currently working to release an album with her band Lyra & The Light which will be released in 2026. Molly is a writer director and producer who released her short film 4 LONG YEARS, she directed a ballet DYING TO LIVE and a modern dance music video CARRY ME HOME as well.
