Biography

Dean R. Zarbaugh II was born and raised in LaGrange, Ohio. Attended film school in Orlando, Florida. Moved back to Ohio after living in Los Angeles in order to help make Ohio a new hub for filmmaking. Shot his latest short film, Young Tuffs, and is in pre-production on his first feature film, an adaptation of Young Tuffs.

As a child, he wanted to be an astronaut. He studied the space shuttle, and various space programs extensively. His father and Mercury Seven astronaut John Glenn are friends, and as a child, Dean was able to meet Glenn at a local airport in Lorain, Ohio.

Raised hogs on a farm for 20 years.
