Judith Westermann is a writer, creator and director for television and film.

She wrote several screenplays for prime time television, such as the comedy "Catch of the Day" which held its premiere at the prestigious Hamburg Film Festival; the music drama "Nur mit dir zusammen" featuring renowned performer Vanessa Mai alongside Axel Prahl, and she also wrote for long running, successful crime procedural television series such as "Unter anderen Umständen" and "Tatort".

Her directorial television debut, the romantic comedy "Schon tausendmal berührt", aired during prime time with 4.82 million viewers and a market percentage of 16,5%, being especially successful among younger audiences 14-49yrs / 11,1%, making it one of the 3 top viewed ARD Friday prime time movies of 2022.

She is the creator and writer of the show "Drunter & Drüber", a dark comedy (Amazon Prime) starring Julia Jentsch und Nicholas Ofczarek.
