Biography

D.J. Sweet was born on February 21, 1988 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. He is an assistant director and actor, known for Thanksgiving Wishes (2011), The Butterfly Broach (2008) and Délivrance (2010).

D.J. Sweet won Outstanding Supporting Actor at the New Brunswick District 2 Middle School Drama Festival (2002) and Outstanding Lead Actor at the New Brunswick Provincial Middle School Drama Festival (2002) for his first acting performance ever, playing Merlin in Knights of the Rad Table. He was in grade eight at the time.

D.J. Sweet was nominated for Best New Brunswick Student Film at the 2009 Silverwave Film Festival for directing, producing, writing and acting in a five minute black and white film called "Eggs" that he made three years earlier in high school.
