- Lisa Stock is a writer and director focusing on films of a magic realist nature.
She graduated from the City University of New York (Hunter College) with a degree in Film Production (and the highest academic honors). She spent time in the theater having several plays produced off-Broadway, and acting as literary manager for the Turnip Theater Company.
Her films have played in festivals and screening series around the world including London, New York, Cannes, Hong Kong, Tel Aviv, Boston, aired on PBS, and been chosen as a Kickstarter Project of the Day. Lisa's work combines the luminosity of magic with gritty reality, and has been taught in university classrooms from Montreal to Malaysia.
Lisa resides in New York City.
