Santiago Dellape directed, produced, wrote and edited six short films that won over 90 awards. Highlights include Becoming Mahatma aka Ratão (2010) and Valley of Souls (2023), which won audience awards at the Gramado and Brasília film festivals, respectively. He holds an MFA in Drama from the University of Brasília (UnB), where he also graduated in Audiovisual and Journalism. Dellape studied Film and TV in the UCLA Summer Sessions, with a scholarship from the Conexão Cultura DF program. His 1st feature film, Punch the Clock (2016), was awarded at the Fantasporto and led to two co-productions with TV Globo: the TV movies Santa’s Half Day-Off (2017) and Christmas Escape (2018), broadcast to 30 million viewers in 77 countries. In 2025, he directed the action comedy Canned Heat aka O Verão da Lata (Nada Consta/ Gancho de Nuvem/Na Paralela/H2O Films/Warner Bros.), and Marcos & Arnaldo (Kocria Audiovisual/Olhar Filmes), both scheduled for release in 2026. Dellape is partner of screenwriter Davi Mattos at the production company Nada Consta, member of the Brazilian Academy of Cinema and a tenured reporter for TV Câmara in Brasília for 16 years.
