Biography

Veronica Szymanski (née Hool) is an awarded screenwriter, director, and producer with a uniquely holistic approach to cinema. A Los Angeles native from a long line of filmmakers, she grew up on film sets all over the world and serves as the President of Development at Silver Lion Films.

She is best known for writing, producing, and co-directing 2 Hearts - #1 movie on Netflix with Jacob Elordi and Adan Canto in 2022.

Winning Director's Guild of America youth awards from a very young age, Veronica has always had a passion for understanding and creatively displaying the dynamism of relationships and the human condition. With a Bachelors in Cognitive Science and International Relations from the University of California, San Diego, and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Southern California, Veronica's super power is working multiple different sides of the camera.

Veronica started her career working for the International Film and Television Alliance (IFTA) setting up the American Film Market, quickly becoming the Head of Film Sales for Kathy Morgan International, which gave her a deep understanding of the industry outside of being on set.

In addition, Veronica is a seasoned actor and a veteran of studying the Meisner Technique. She is married with two small children. She continues to search for compelling and authentic stories that demonstrate what it is to be human.
