- Jules Buckley was born on January 8, 1980 in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, UK. He is known for Cats (2019), Jetlag (2026) and Within Temptation & The Metropole Orchestra: Black Symphony (2008).
- He studied trumpet at the Guildhall School of Music. He planned to become a jazz trumpeter, but became interested in musical arrangements and conducting, and shifted his focus to composition.
- He is a conductor, composer, and arranger who has risen to fame since he co-founded the Heritage Orchestra in 2004, specializing in non-classical repertoire. He has worked with pop, jazz, and funk artists. He is also chief conductor of the Netherlands-based Metropole Orkest. He appears frequently at the Proms concerts in London.
